Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones was the person responsible for securing the translation and publication of this book in English. The book is not a complete biography of Howell Harris but is a detailed account (based on his diaries) of the first three years of his spiritual pilgrimage - a crucial period in the origins of the Great Awakening of the eighteenth century.
